Hello, my name is Karla Grimaldo, this will be my twelve year working at Houston Gateway Academy. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors Degree in Education and I'm certified in Bilingual Generalist (Grades EC- 5).  Education is my priority and showing my scholars that education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world makes me get up every morning to teach. I want to inspire my scholars to get up every morning with determination and strength to help them open the doors to their future. I want to show them that they can become anything they want if they work for it.
