The ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include school diversity and state test scores for economically disadvantaged students.
HGA Spring STAAR and EOC 2021 Results Significantly Higher Than Region IV and State Averages On June 28 2021, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) released STAAR and EOC results and regardless of the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Houston Gateway Academy Charter Schools (HGA) sustained high quality learning by achieving outstanding results.
Gov. Greg Abbott announced that public schools can no longer require masks on their campuses starting June 5 Houston Gateway Academy is aware of Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order issued on May 18th prohibiting schools from requiring students, staff and visitors to wear masks after June 4, 2021. HGA intends to comply with Governor Abbott’s order and awaits further guidance from the Texas Education Agency.
